Unfotunately, it's hard for me to get anywhere nowa days! Infact, I've recently had to refuse my press passes to Eurogamer this year. There was a museum that had a games history exhibition in Manchester a while back too, which I also missed out on because of other commitments.

So nice to hear, thanks :)

I did a wonderful experiment with the thing you mentioned last, on N4G. I wrote a bad article about a popular game (in about 5 minutes) and put in on N4G with a provocative title ("Stop playing modern warfare 2"). I got more than 10.000 hits that day, and got top article on N4G, and it was a crappy article. It's so sad how that works.

What's also interesting is the development process. I love asking developers about how they make their game, and get really cool information about them playing the scenes out and learning how to street fight and stuff like that. And if you're into history, you should definitely go to a GDC where Don Daglow attends, that's a really interesting man to talk to!

I have to say I'm not a fan of short reviews, infact it PAINS me that my editor insists that a PSN/XBL game has a really short word count! We have mini arguments about it, but I know deep down he's one of the smartest people I've met and so has a very valid point. And the point is; nobody wants to read a droneing article. Being a journalist (for me) is never about the parties and free stuff (parties are for unadulterated crazy fun), I do it because I love games, because I love looking at the history of our (forgive me for saying this giant N.E.S in the sky) "hobby" and reflecting on how far the industry has come. I stopped reading N4G a long time ago, the arguments over who's better is just such a waste of time and it even depresses me to see the fan base being so childish.

This kind of stuff (you're interveiw) is where it's at. That, and the nostalgic and provocative articles are what get to me. I'm putting your site on my favorites now...

Well, it's been doing the rounds at review tables now as I'm sure you're aware and it's not sounding good! Empty streets, dull missions, boring gameplay! The one thing everyone's saying that's good about it is the atmosphere.

Least it's got something eh?

I was supposed to be going to this with some of the guys from CG but had to focus on my other business this year as it's just a brand new wee baby business and couldn't possibly look after itself if I left! Although I will be covering the Eurogamer expo again down in London soon, I think I'll only manage one day of it.

So many events, so little time. Have fun over there Snezana!
